The International House of Prayer has a 24/7 live worship stream. I was just listening to it at http://www.ihopkc.org/prayerroom/ and I heard the lyrics “I don’t want you to be // a familiar stranger to me”

It reminded me of part of a song I wrote some time ago during a personal time: “It’s been some time, since we spent time, and I walk the line of barely knowing you”
That’s why I keep posting here. It’s a place to share any God centred thoughts, no matter how fleeting, before I forget them and any prompting from Him is lost.  It’s so easy to fill your life with eating, watching TV, playing games, socialising, the 9 till 5 work day,  that my almighty loving father is regrettably and embarrassingly way down the list.

But, by posting here, my mind is rested as I seek and reflect on what He’s saying. I think I’ve heard him clearly today. Hey, God … message received and understood.
